World of Warcraft Alliance Leveling Guide
I've been playing WOW for a while and one of the biggest things that I've grown to dislike about the game is the amount of time it takes for me to start up a new character. My problem is that I get bored quickly, and that boredom translates into a lot of time spent starting new characters, getting frustrated, and then repeating the whole bloody process.
Then I came across a WOW leveling guide that was geared towards the alliance. The alliance WOW leveling guide is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me since I found out about this game. It's allowed me to develop two new characters in the same amount of time as it would have taken me to develop one, and it showed me how to skip a lot of the junk and BS that I normally trudged through.
More Time Playing
One thing I've always loved about MMORPG's is the questing part of it. Maybe it's just me, but exploring cool castles, caves, forests, and deserts has always been on my top 100 list of things to do, and given the fact that I'll probably never get to do any of those things in real life, it's really awesome to be able to take my fictional character – a bigger, stronger, more powerful online emulation of me (really) – and have him visit all of that cool stuff.
I found that it took me a while to get my characters to the point where I could go to most locations, embark on the quests, and survive. It might be weeks (even months) before I'd be able to just walk around, uninhibited, and enjoy my character- not so with the help of a leveling guide. The weeks/months turn into days/weeks, and I find myself being able to do a lot more with a lot less time having been invested.
The Skinny on the Book
I'm not a mega nerd in the sense that I let one thing rule my life. I'm a business nerd- when I'm not building my businesses I'm playing WOW, plain and simple. I focus on efficiency and ability to deliver my product, and I'm (sadly) the same way when I'm playing WOW. I mean, what's the point of clicking my way to new heights if it's going to take me months to get there?
I'm impatient, and I know it. It shows in a lot of things that I do: showers (I've figured out my ideal shower method that maximizes efficiency and minimizes length), shaving, and computer games. The strategy guide helped me make my alliance character faster, bigger, better, and stronger (thanks to Daft Punk for the wording on that, by the way).
